Tesla vice president of corporate and business development, Diarmuid O’Connell, described Tesla’s high-priced electric cars as peerless in their styling, performance and charging capability.
He said he is surprised that there are only
lower-performance electric vehicles in the marketplace
and nothing to challenge the Model S.
He then went on to say that
other electric cars look like appliances!
” Tesla Motors, BMW i3 and
Nissan Leaf electric vehicles
are the few exceptions, he said.”
